How to Cook an Omelette
Looking for something good to whip for breakfast? Well, a
light, delicious, 3 egg omelette is your answer. Here's how to do it.
Ingredients
3 eggs
Milk
Salt
Olive oil
Cheese (for toasting)
Chopped Vegetables
Preheat saucepan over medium heat
Crack 3 eggs in a bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of milk in your egg mixture. Do not add
more than a tablespoon, otherwise your omelet will be burned and ruined. The
milk will make your omelette pleasant, soft and light.
Sprinkle with salt in your mixture. This will add flavor to
the omelette.
Chop any vegetables you want, and add them to the mixture
(optional).
Whisk with a fork, well. Make sure you see lots of bubbles!
Pour olive oil over your pan. Swish around so it covers the
pan.
Add your egg mixture to the pan. If you hear a sizzle, you
do it well.
Get a rubber spatula and make sure the edges of the omelette
do not stick.
Push one edge up, and let the excess egg fall under the edge
after about 1 minute. Release.
Sprinkle grated cheese on the omelet, and sprinkle a little
salt on too.
Get a larger spatula, and flip your omelet, so it is half on
top of half after about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Keep moving this around the
pan, so it does not stick.
Take out your omelette from the pan, and on the plate. Leave
to rest for about 2 minutes, then serve.
